Gray December
It was NY 2012, time before Christmas. After the hurricane Sandy that prohibited all visits to Liberty Statue on Ellis island, leaving the only opportunity to cruise around the island.
The US national debt was rising, the future was bleak or uncertain. December was gray with some impregnation of pink. Manhattan was bustling and vain.
